New Website!

I've designed a new website with large scale renderings of a lot of my work, after a tricky process of relearning HTML and troubleshooting, I think that it will make a good home.

Exhibition Catalog

Printed on linen papers and cover, this is a collation of all of the process that went in to the project. This 135 page book covers the beginning development of the concept, through form and pattern making, and finally the pieces that were printed on the banners.

I am on tumblr now as well, micro-blogging might be the death of me.

Exhibition Main Gallery @ MCAD

My thesis exhibition is up on the wall parallel to the front doors. The finished banners are printed on silk and sewn by a local artisan. Shown are the censored themes of (left to right): Sex, gambling, opulence/hedonism, alcohol/narcotics. I am incredibly happy to have these up in front of such a varied audience. The cards that I printed are disappearing rapidly.

Also shown is a process book documenting the entire project from the beginning theoretical stage, to pattern making, and the finished illustrations. It came to around 135 pages of written content that I nitpicked as I enjoy copy-writing greatly.

Come and see it before Sunday when it is taken down.

I also have a tumblr up, please add me :)

Final Piece: Inner Journies

Well overdue, this is a piece I created using the censored elements of substances currently controlled by the Chinese government. Cliches can be found throughout, not limited to the pink elephant and everyones favorite flower.

Posts with the exhibition photos soon to come. Stop on by MCAD and see the last four prints printed on silk and some other things. Free stuff as well as it lasts.
